Our BIG NIGHT is Friday, 28 October. “Freaky Friday Halloween” is the theme of our Fundraising event this year. $250 buys a couple or just one person to the dinner dance, featuring “Sleeping Boody,” a great 70’s cover band. Dinner begins at 7.00PM at Lane Tree Golf Club. With the purchase of each ticket also comes the opportunity to win one of eight great prizes that include: 30% off tuition for one student next year; 50% off tuition for one students next year; $400 to Dine Downtown; five wonderful get-away trips to Asheville, Charleston, New York City, Montréal- Mount Tremblant, and the premiere trip: a four night stay in Cabo San Lucas, México at the Hilton Resort with airfare, and a $250 hotel credit. Please remember this is our BIG fundraiser for the year and we want to make it both fun and profitable.
Halloween is the last Monday in October! Our traditional “Spook Parade” will be held in the main concourse of the school at 8:30 AM. Immediately following our parade, the Parents Association will hold its annual “Trunk or Treat” in the Early Years/Lower School parking area. If you’d like to participate (either as a Trunk or as a candy donor) please contact Mrs. Myers at email@example.com At 1.00PM in the Performing Arts Classroom, the Upper School Student Government will sponsor a first-ever Halloween “mini-carnival.” Each class of the Upper School (i.e., seventh, eighth, etc.) will have a booth that the Early Years and Lower School students will be able to visit. By the end of the day, Halloween certainly will have been well celebrated at Wayne Country Day School!
